Zooming Reset

My browser window (Safari) always gets zoomed in and I always forget the key command to reset it. So this post is mainly a reminder for myself. If you happen to come across this post and it helps you then great! Thanks for reading my post.

On most all of the latest version of Browsers ( Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Opera) on Mac OS X  is simple to reset.

If you do a key combo of ?(command key)  +  0 (zero key) that should reset your browser zoom level back to 100%.

Changing it is simple and I found a great article over at the The Sweet Setup that gives you an easy way to change the device/WiFi name.

OS X Yosemite’s Spotlight Search Glitch

According to an article published today on  SlashGear.com. A glitch in OS X Yosemite’s Spotlight search can expose private details if you’re an Apple Mail user. The glitch exposes your IP address and other system details to spammers and other online tracking companies. The best simplest way to protect yourself by this glitch is stop Spotlight for searching Mail and Messages, by unchecking that box in the Spotlight preferences . Lifehacker has a great article tutorial on how to turn spotlight off from searching your Mail messages.
